The Dream Cart

Terms of Service

🛍️ Plain-English summary: The Dream Cart is a shopping simulator. Nothing is for sale, no payment is ever taken, and any receipt is fictional. This page is boilerplate — have a lawyer review it before any public launch.

1. Nature of the Service

The Dream Cart ("the Service") is an interactive shopping simulator provided for entertainment and demonstration purposes only. The Service mimics the experience of browsing and purchasing products. It is not a store, marketplace, or retailer. No products offered through the Service are actually for sale.

2. No Transactions

No purchase, sale, order, payment, charge, or shipment occurs through the Service. No payment method is collected, stored, processed, or charged. Any card details displayed are non-functional placeholders. Any "order," "receipt," "total," "tax," or "confirmation" generated by the Service is fictional and has no commercial or legal effect.

3. Not Proof of Purchase

Receipts and confirmations produced by the Service are simulated and must not be presented as evidence of a real purchase, used for reimbursement, returns, warranty claims, tax, accounting, or any other purpose requiring genuine proof of payment.

4. Products and Brands

Product names shown are used for descriptive and illustrative purposes. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or manufacturer referenced.

5. Account Information

To personalize your simulated experience, the Service collects only your name and email address. This information is used solely to display your name on simulated receipts and to email you a clearly-labeled simulated receipt. We do not sell your information.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of the Service are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to deceive any person into believing a real transaction has occurred, including by altering, screenshotting, or repurposing simulated receipts to misrepresent them as genuine.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
